We monitor all WSS repairs in Sofiq in real time through a virtual info center
The era of “All operators are currently busy” has ended with our digitalized map, which answers why there is a water supply interruption and what the quality of the water in my residential quarter is
Sofiyska Voda, part of the international Veolia Group, now has a new GIS-based interactive map, which features in real time all current repairs, future ones and investment projects, as well as the accurate boundaries of the affected regions, implementation status and expected hour of completion of the repairs.
Information about the quality of the drinking water by residential quarters is available in a separate category, with published laboratory analyses for the current month. The analyses relate to a total of 87 monitoring points, located in all parts of the capital. Thus, the residents and guests of Sofia will have access at any time to the water quality in any residential quarter. The generalized information is the result of the daily monitoring carried out by Sofiyska Voda, part of Veolia Group, whose laboratory testing complex takes around 2,000 control samples annually from the monitoring points along the water supply network at the consumers’ sites. The company conducts close to 40,000 laboratory analyses on those samples.
The updated interactive map of the company allows us to also directly send an online signal for a leak or another irregularity along the water supply and sewerage network. The signal is registered directly into the company’s Hubgrade, after which the operational teams check and organize the fixing of the problem. Meanwhile, the sender of the signal may track the progress of the work on it at every stage.
The upgrade of the virtual information center of the capital’s WSS operator is accompanied by yet another video-instruction, part of the sequence Sofiyska Voda’s Advice.
