How are the so-called “common needs” calculated in the water bill?

The “common needs”, as customers call the common consumption in a condominium, are allocated proportionally among all property owners. The formula set out in the regulatory framework of Bulgaria seems to be complex but in fact it is easy to use. You can see how the amount of the debt is calculated, why it is charged at all and why we receive slightly higher water bills every three months.
