At Sofiyska Voda, not only dedicated professionals work, but people with big hearts and a lot of courage. One of them is Kiril Petkov, who has been part of the team of the Failures and Maintenance Department for years. In his long career with us, Kiril has fixed hundreds of failures, but June 25 turned out to be an unusual working day for him. After fixing two major failures, he set off along Botevgradsko Shose thinking his work for the day was done. Until the excavator he was driving was intercepted by a burning big truck full of straw. Kiril didn’t think for a moment whether to help and so immediately took on the role of a fireman. For his bravery, he received a thank-you address from the Sofia Inspectorate.
